Service
There's no plug-and-play AI for a real business. There's one built around yours.
Agents across the channels your customers actually use. RAG over your own knowledge so the AI stops hallucinating about your products. Internal workflow automation that lives inside the systems you already run. AI-augmented outbound with a human approval gate. Replatform off the generic ChatGPT wrapper that hit its ceiling.
Scoped per business, built by us, run by us. Start with a no-fee process discovery conversation - real scoping first, then real building - and an explicit refusal to promise "deploy in 24 hours from a template".
Asked about your AI strategy?
"What's our AI strategy?" - let's give them a real one.
Most owners we talk to come to us with the brief, not the use case - somebody asked what they're doing about AI and they don't have an answer yet. That's the gap a no-fee process discovery conversation closes: we workshop the actual moments AI would fit, end with a written shape, a sized build, and an honest "no, AI doesn't fit there" pass on the things it doesn't.
No 40-page strategy deck - the deliverable is software that ships and runs, not a report about software that might one day ship.
What we build
Six shapes of AI engagement. Every one is scoped to your business - no templates pulled off a shelf, no "AI assistant in 24 hours" promise. Pick the closest, or describe yours in the enquiry form and we'll work it out.
Somebody's asked what your AI strategy is and you don't have one yet. We start with a no-fee process discovery conversation, end with a written shape, a sized build, and an honest 'no, AI doesn't fit there' pass on the things it doesn't.
Inbound drowning your inbox, phone, DMs - web chat, WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS, voice. Multi-channel agent grounded in your own business knowledge, with a human-takeover route when the agent's unsure. The mendbuddy pattern, scoped to your business.
Years of customer notes, FAQs, contracts, product docs, internal wikis sitting unused. We ingest them, index them, and put them behind an AI that retrieves before it generates - the layer that stops the AI hallucinating about your products.
Inbox triage. Ticket categorisation. Document classification. Lead scoring. Expense pre-processing. AI as a component inside the systems you already run - your CRM, your inbox, your dashboard - not a separate UI nobody opens.
Content cadence stalled, generic AI-content farms penalised by Google. AI drafts tailored per audience, scheduled across your channels, with a human approval gate before anything posts. The planpost pattern - outbound, supervised, sustainable.
Started on a Custom GPT, a Zapier + OpenAI flow, or a £79/mo 'ChatGPT for [vertical]' SaaS - and hit the ceiling. We rebuild it native, ingest your real business knowledge, add audit logging and evaluation, and ship it on a stack you own.

How pricing works
Every AI engagement is unique; there's no public £ figure on this page, and not because it's a secret. A solo-trader clinic wanting an AI receptionist and a regional services firm wanting a knowledge-base agent across six locations don't share a build cost - pretending otherwise on a rate card means somebody is overpaying.
Engagement
No-fee process discovery conversation first - which sub-type, which channels, which knowledge sources, which decisions a human keeps, what success looks like, what we're explicitly not going to do. Build cost agreed in writing before any work starts. No grid, no tiers, no per-seat creep.
Hosting & maintenance
LLM-API budget on whichever provider we settled on, prompt-pipeline versioning, evaluation runs, knowledge-base re-ingestion as your sources move, model-version migrations when providers deprecate, channel-platform shifts, per-conversation audit logging. Fixed monthly figure agreed when we scope your build.
Pay monthly instead of all at once
Split-pay over monthly instalments is always available on the one-off build that lands in the same scope conversation. Number of months and terms agreed at scope, alongside the build price itself - because every project, idea and vision is different.
Often paired with
AI almost never lives alone. The agent talks to your customers through a website, an app, or a channel that has to be set up; the conversations it surfaces lead to content that has to be written; the build sits on a stack that has to be hosted.
Website build & hosting
The marketing front door the AI agent embeds into. Brochure, online shop, migration, redesign. From £99 build; hosting on top, agreed at scope.
iOS & Android app build & hosting
The native mobile surface for the operator who runs the inbox, or the customer who'd use the AI in their pocket. From £299 build; hosting on top, agreed at scope.
SEO retainer
How the people who'd use the AI find the site that hosts it. Google Business Profile, citations, on-page, monthly report - plus optional content cadence the AI helps with. Monthly, scoped per project.
FAQ
How much does an AI build cost?
Agreed at scope, because every project, idea and vision is different. A solo-trader clinic wanting an AI receptionist and a regional services firm wanting a knowledge-base agent across six locations don't share a build cost - and pretending they do, on a published rate card, means somebody is overpaying. We talk through what you actually need, agree the scope and the price in writing, then build. Monthly hosting and maintenance sit on top and are agreed in the same conversation.
Will you guarantee AI replaces N hours of work / N% of our tickets / N staff?
No - and anyone giving you those numbers up front is either guessing or selling you something they can't deliver. Real AI savings come from a build that fits your actual operations, evaluated honestly month after month against the work it's meant to be doing. We'll tell you what's realistic for your shape before you sign, and we report monthly so you can see the line moving rather than trust us that it is.
Do you have an AI agent we can deploy in 24 hours?
No. The agencies promising that are either shipping a template that doesn't know your business or sending the customer to OpenAI / Voiceflow under their badge. We do real scoping first, then real building - the timeline depends on what you actually need (some things are quick, others aren't). The 24-hour-deploy posture is exactly the thing this page exists to push back on.
Will my customer data be sent to OpenAI / Anthropic / Google?
Depends on the scope we agree together. Where the compliance posture demands no third-country processing - and the budget allows - we'll deploy a self-hosted open-weights model (Llama / Mistral / Phi via Ollama or vLLM) so no data leaves your perimeter. Regulated-sector buyers (clinics, solicitors, accountants, FCA-regulated firms) usually need the self-hosted shape; consumer-facing brands usually don't.
Can you fine-tune a model on our data?
Possible, but rarely the right answer. Most buyers who ask for fine-tuning actually want retrieval-augmented generation - the AI looks up your business knowledge before it answers, instead of trying to memorise it. RAG is cheaper, easier to update, less model-version-locked, and produces more accurate answers for business questions. We'll tell you which one fits your shape; if it really is fine-tuning, we do that too, but we won't reach for it just because the buyer asked.
We're on Custom GPTs / Zapier + OpenAI / Lindy / Voiceflow - can you rebuild it native?
Yes - replatforming off a generic AI wrapper is one of the six shapes of work we do under this service. We rebuild the integration on a stack you own, port your prompts and knowledge base, add evaluation and audit logging, and ship it on infrastructure where you're not paying per-task / per-message / per-resolution markup. Same outcomes, predictable cost, no vendor lock.
How does the monthly retainer work after the build is done?
The retainer covers the cost of keeping the AI alive - the LLM-API budget on whichever provider we settled on, prompt-pipeline versioning, evaluation runs, knowledge-base re-ingestion as your source documents move, model-version migrations when providers deprecate, channel-platform shifts (WhatsApp Business rule changes, OpenAI deprecations, etc.), and per-conversation audit logging. The monthly figure is agreed when we scope your build, because every engagement sits on a different shape of backend.
What about regulated sectors - clinics, solicitors, accountants, FCA firms?
We've read the SRA / FCA / MHRA / GMC / ICO guidance and we build to the bounds it sets. Human-in-the-loop on any decision affecting a customer's standing. Audit trails the regulator can ask for. Data residency choices that match your compliance posture. We won't pretend the guidance doesn't apply, and we won't build something we wouldn't be comfortable defending in front of your regulator.
What does the enquiry process look like?
Fill in the form below. Tell us what your business does, what you'd like AI to actually do for you - or just write 'don't know, the board's asking, help'. We come back within 24 hours by email - the start of a no-fee process discovery conversation that ends with a written shape and a price, or with an honest 'no, AI doesn't fit there yet' if that's the answer. If it lands, we agree it in writing and start. No calendar widget, no forced demo, no per-seat creep.
Tell us what you're trying to do
What does your business do, and what would you like AI to actually do for you - take pressure off the inbox, surface answers from documents nobody reads, draft outbound, replace a wrapper you've outgrown? Don't know - that's fine, just write 'help' in the box. We'll come back within 24 hours by email to start a no-fee process discovery conversation - written shape and a price at the end, or an honest 'no, AI doesn't fit there yet' if that's the answer.
